Australasian trained specialist in both geriatric and general medicine Dr Tom Moodie, leads Age Well Albany. He brings compassion, understanding and deep expertise to managing the problems associated with aging.

His particular interests include Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, Parkinson’s disease, managing and preventing falls; frailty, rehabilitation following strokes, injury and illness and complex medical problems.

Tom, his wife and their two daughters have lived in Albany since 2016. Tom was responsible for establishing the geriatric medicine service at Albany Hospital and has been a key driver for advancing the hospital's rehabilitation unit.

Tom is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and a member of the Australia and New Zealand Society of Geriatric Medicine (ANZSGM). Originally from New Zealand, he has worked in Auckland, Western Australia, Queensland and New South Wales.
